Reflections on the Missional Church Learning Experience

Since many American churches are struggling with declining attendance, in part a result of the enormous cultural changes in the last 50 years, the question was asked: "What would happen if a national experiment was formed through which small American Baptist churches were invited to learn about the Missional Church Movement by designing and implementing a small community project?" In this issue of The Christian Citizen read about the first year of the Missional Church Learning Experience in which National Ministries entered into partnership with regions to invite small American Baptist churches to create learning communites and practice missional principles.
