The Alpha program finds its foundation in a holistic understanding of evangelism, relying upon the ministry of prayer along with the work of the Holy Spirit. Alpha presents the central truths of the Christian faith in an intelligent and personal manner, while addressing the need to feel and experience in order to know. Seekers are treated with the utmost dignity and respect, and given ample time and space for faith exploration at an individual pace without any pressure. The 10-week program, which includes 15 sessions, encourages new Christians to share their faith and enthusiasm, and includes opportunities for inviting friends and getting involved.
